What if you need to make changes to a quiz?
Once a quiz is published and students have started taking the quiz there are some useful resources that will help you will moderating and grading. Moderating Quiz Page
The Moderate Quiz page allows you to moderate the quiz for each student in your course. For general information see the following guide: Once I publish my quiz, how do I use the Moderate Quiz page? Links to an external site. |
Options and Information included on the Moderate Quiz Page:
- View the progress of student submissions - How long a student took to take a quiz or if they area currently taking the quiz you'll see the remaining time the student has to complete the quiz.
- View the number of quiz attempts each student has taken
- Provide a student with extra attempts Links to an external site.
- Provide extended time for timed quizzes Links to an external site. **Use this for students who need extended test taking time due to accommodations.**
- Manually unlock quiz attempts
- Manually submit outstanding quizzes Links to an external site.
- View student's score on the quiz - For multiple submissions, the score is the most recent attempt.
IMPORTANT: If you change the quiz settings while a student is taking a quiz, the new settings will NOT apply until the student has completed the current attempt.
Accessing the Moderate Quiz Page
Navigate to one of your Quizzes and click on the "Moderate This Quiz" button on the right side of the page.
Regrade Options
After students have taken a quiz there are limited regrade options for different types of quiz questions. In addition, you can't regrade questions that were linked from a question bank; you can regrade questions that were added from a question bank. |
