MAC USERS (Suggestion)

Office 365 does have a Mac version of Office 365; however, there are some significant differences in the Mac version Excel that I have found to make it difficult for students to learn some of the processes we are teaching in this course.  If possible this is what I suggest for Mac users:

  1. Install a version of ParallelsLinks to an external site. on your Mac (Journey Ed has this for Cuesta Students - $39.95Links to an external site.)
  2. Purchase a download of Windows 10Links to an external site. (Journey Ed has this for Cuesta Students - $144Links to an external site.). After you have installed a Windows 10 version, install your free WINDOWS version of Office 365.  It will work on your Mac and you will then have the programs you need including MS Access that will not work on the Mac operating system.

CANVAS

After you have registered for the class you will find you are now registered for Canvas. You will need to follow these steps:

  1. From the Cuesta Website, Click on the Canvas Link
  2. You will be asked for a username and password. That information is the same as you myCuesta username.
  3. You will see all of the classes you are currently enrolled in listed in this area. If you have an additional questions. I suggest watching the following video (Canvas TutorialLinks to an external site. Links to an external site..)
