Welcome to Vocal Jazz Workshop!

This vocal jazz class will be an arrangers choir this semester. It will be 100% online. I have worked with almost all of you before, and I know and admire the rest of you! This is a very talented group and I'm honored to be working with you.

Our goal this semester is to learn and record our own arrangements and I will mix and edit them. I've become quite adept at that since March. If we want, I have a budget to hire someone to make videos to go along with some of our favorite projects.

*Required equipment:

1) A recording device, like a hand-held digital recorder or a smart phone

2) Another screen like a table, laptop or desktop computer

3) Headphones or earbuds

*If anyone doesn't have access to any of the above, let me know and I can likely help you borrow it from the college, or find a budget to buy it for you (not a new iPhone haha).

EXAMPLES OF PROJECTS WE DID LAST SPRING:

“Amazing Grace”

Serenade No. 9, "Amazing Grace"

“Here Comes the Sun”

Here Comes The Sun

“Ezekiel” (for double choir)

Ezekiel
