Canvas Inbox email

The Canvas Inbox is the best way to email students in a course.

Click on the Inbox icon to open the Canvas email program, located in the Canvas navigation sidebar.

 

 

 

 

The Canvas email program will open where you can select to compose a new message.

Select the course to send the email message to, then

Select the students (all) to send the message to.

Keep the check box ticked so the student emails are blind carbon-copied, so student cannot "reply all" and spam everyone in the course.

 

Canvas course Announcements are sent via the Canvas Inbox and are directed to student email accounts.
