Meet your students using their preferred method of communicating!

Pronto adds another valuable communication and community-building tool to your Canvas course.

Pronto functions like a text messaging App, embedded in your Canvas course.

Your students are automatically enrolled in a Pronto group for each course. Only students and instructors who are enrolled in the course can message each other. 

Make sure to activate your course's Pronto app the day the course begins. Pronto is located on the lower left side of the Canvas navigation pane.

Students can choose to download the Pronto phone app (free), and use Pronto when they're logged in to a Canvas course.

Record and post videos to Pronto.

Using Pronto, students can contact another student individually, or a small group, or the entire class, set up a study group, or send out a question or comment.
