Participation

Online classes are available and make your education experience more convenient. However, this is not a self-pace, learn on your own class. This is a 3-unit college level course which translate to roughly 12-15 hours a week in lecture and homework. I have structured weeks with material for you to read, watch and interact with. I expect you to log into class at least 2 days a week, but more is better.

Please recognize that an online class does require just as much time as a traditional face to face course. If you were taking this class face-to-face, you would be in class 9 hours a week. It is very important that you keep up with the readings, assignments, quizzes, tests, discussions, etc.  Once you get behind it can be a challenge to catch up in this course. Late assignments will receive reduced credit.

Drop Policy

As stated in the Class Schedule: “Normal progress and successful completion of scholastic work depends upon regular attendance.” You are ultimately responsible for dropping yourself, however, I will drop students for non-participation.
